When we asked Kevin and Rebecca to describe the style they were going to pursue for their wedding day, they replied “classic and elegant.” To say they achieved that goal would be an understatement! With help from Rebecca’s mom, Joyce, who co-owns Potomac Bridals in Hagerstown, planner Jodi Colombo of Beyond Ordinary Events and Weddings and Susie Chalk and her team at Hollow Creek Golf Club, Rebecca and Kevin created a simply gorgeous day filled with lush and personal details that showed off their style. It was especially clear at the reception venue, Hollow Creek, where the tables were set with Rebecca’s grandmother’s plate collection, at each place a different floral dish sitting on a gold charger. Instead of table numbers, guests found their seats using baseball stadiums that have played a significant role in Kevin’s life.
The Cake Boutique contributed even more elegance with this masterpiece.
See that betta fish in the glass vase on the right? He became a little mascot for the bartenders as he kept them company all night.
Ahh, the dress! Of course Rebecca’s dress was going to be a show-stopper. When your mom owns a premier bridal gown shop, it does come with some advantages!
We really loved the bridesmaids’ and flower girls’ dresses, too. The dusty rose color was accented on top with tiny sparkles that caught the light all day. And the flower girls were as close to fairy princesses as you can get.
Rebecca honored her grandmother again by wearing her pearls.
We love how Rebecca and Kevin incorporated small touches of baseball into their day, to reflect Kevin’s passion. This was the glove that the ring bearer used to carry the rings down the aisle.
We love this image that our second shooter for the day, Stefanie Harrington, captured of flower girl Mia. Gorgeous!
Bouquets by Roostervane Gardens were absolutely stunning!
Then Rebecca and her dad hopped into a 1947 Princess Rolls Royce limousine provided by Lasting Impressions.
Rebecca was very excited to give Kevin a special gift just before their wedding ceremony.
Tying their own bow ties may have presented a bit of a challenge for the guys, but it was worth it. They looked so stellar!
Rebecca was more than ready to walk down the aisle to Kevin at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
A little bit of rain didn’t dampen things too much, especially when we saw this amazing double rainbow on the way over to the reception at Hollow Creek!
Before they were announced into the reception, Uncle Kevin sneaked into our Silly Station photo booth for a quick pic with Mia.
Rebecca and Kevin could barely contain themselves while listening to her dad’s speech/rap performance!
Instead of a guestbook, guests signed home plate!
The reception was quite a party, with guests keeping the Silly Station busy all night, and DJ Dave Lynch of Amplified Entertainment keeping them dancing.
Thank you, Rebecca and Kevin, for including us in your extremely elegant, classic, and love-filled day. We loved it all!
