Like a lot of folks, Amanda and Jared found each other at their workplace. Amanda actually spoke to Jared for the first time in order to extend a job offer to him. Exactly one year after that phone call, the two were officially dating. And now, five years later, they’re planning a wedding. In September, they’ll say their vows at Zion Lutheran Church in Middletown then celebrate at Musket Ridge Golf Club in Myersville, surrounded by the family and friends they love.

We spent a lovely spring afternoon with Amanda and Jared around the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. The famed cherry blossoms were just beginning to bloom and made a lovely backdrop for us!

Amanda was so excited to get a ring from Jared that she was literally jumping up and down! The proposal happened during a party for her 30th birthday and was the final surprise of many that day for an ecstatic Amanda.
Amanda and Jared are busy planning a romantic, traditional wedding filled with personal details. We can’t wait to capture it all for them in a few months!
