On a rainy day in May, Martin looked at his best friend, Brittany, who he first met when he was 16 and she was 14, and thanked her for sharing her life with him. As tears welled up in his eyes, he talked about how he watched her grow from a lovely young girl into a beautiful woman and promised he’d never go to bed angry. Brittany smiled and told him she’d never leave the cap off the toothpaste and always wear green and yellow when the Packers were playing. Their wedding day, at Stone Manor Country Club in Middletown, was filled with love and laughter, goofy smiles, and tender moments… and lots and lots of dancing, from Scottish to hip hop (more on that later…)

Brittany’s a girl after our own hearts… wearing TOMS on your wedding day? Yes, please!

To the 9’s Floral and Event Design did an incredible job with bouquets and floral arrangements. Brittany’s bouquet featured a cuff from her mom’s wedding gown.

And there’s Brenda Dalton of Rose Brooke Studio, who created Brittany’s lovely look for the day. We especially loved the side braid!

Those gray skies meant an outdoor ceremony was not to be! But the awesome staff at Stone Manor made sure plan B was just as wonderful.

Martin is such a wonderful guy — so kind, caring, and hilarious!

Lots of emotions as they opened letters and gifts from each other before the ceremony.

We love the rings that Brittany gifted to her bridesmaids as a way of saying thanks for helping her “tie the knot.”

Julie from Design Diva helped make the tent look incredible!

When Robert Mitchell started to play the bagpipes, the wedding officially began!

Brittany’s mom, Mimi, served as wedding coordinator and did an amazing job putting together all the details!

Brittany’s Scottish relatives, including her dad, looked sharp in their kilts all night!

Fun fact: Officiant Randy Richter was a neighbor to Brittany’s family for many years as she grew up in Walkersville!

Laughs and tears flowed as Martin and Brittany recited the vows they wrote.

And then Randy asked Martin to hold the hand of his best friend, the hand that would comfort him when he’s sick and console him in grief. Hands that would care for him and for their daughter, Olivia.

They did it! And then it was time to party…

Angel Cakes created the gorgeous, and tasty, cake!

Martin and his mom kicked off the dancing with an amazing series of songs, that nearly brought the house down at the end!

We are always thrilled to see Matt of Shew-sical Entertainment Services setting up his DJ equipment, because we know it’s going to be a great party!

Our Silly Station photo booth was busier than ever, taking pictures of guests from the moment the cocktail hour began, through the entire reception!

Time to toss the bouquet!

Hey now, that’s Martin’s mama! (We think someone’s watching you…)

What an amazing celebration! It was hard to say goodbye to these two! Thank you for everything, and much happiness, Brittany and Martin!
