Hillary may go down as one of the happiest brides we’ve ever photographed. Hillary’s new husband, Mike, had no trouble bringing out his bride’s smiles throughout their bright, sunny, blue-sky July wedding day. We first fell in love with Hillary’s smile and Mike’s great sense of humor during their engagement shoot in Downtown Brunswick and around Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia. Ever since that great shoot with their “furry kids” Chloe and George, we were looking forward to their wedding day at Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery in Thurmont. As Hillary said, it’s an “amazing miracle to find the love of your life.” We couldn’t agree more. And documenting that amazing miracle has been a privilege…

We were blessed with another gorgeous day at one of our absolute favorite venues, Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery!

We are always thrilled when we know we’ll be working with Candlelight Floral Designs. Truly stunning arrangements and great people!

Hillary’s gown was classic elegance, from TLC Bridal Boutique, in Downtown Frederick.

This was Hillary’s ta-da! moment, all dressed and ready to go!

Mike eagerly waited in front of the gorgeous Manor House for his “first look” at his bride, before the ceremony.

All the printed items, from these program/fans at the ceremony to the guest “mad libs” and place cards at the reception, were made by Etsy shop Cordially Invited.

Gray storm clouds threatened, but only a small sprinkle or two actually came down!

One of the many highlights of the grounds at Springfield Manor are the lavender fields. Such a gorgeous backdrop!

Meanwhile, inside the venue, guests found their seats and were asked to fill out “Guest Libs” to provide the newlyweds with some marriage advice!

And though they couldn’t be there in person, George and Chloe were happy to show guests the appropriate restrooms to enter!

We love Hillary and Mike’s idea for table numbers — each one had corresponding photos showing them at that age! So cute.

A truly special moment during the reception came when it was time for Hillary’s dance with her dad. It brought many — including Hillary’s mom — to tears!

Jefferson Pastry Shoppe is a tiny, yet amazing, bakery along the main drag of the tiny town of Jefferson. It’s worth the trip for a cheese danish or truly tasty doughnut, and now we know they make stunning wedding cakes and groom’s cakes, too!

One sign you’ve got a great DJ working with you… awesome dancing images! Thanks to the always entertaining Shew-sical Entertainment Services for keeping the crowd on their toes all night.

Loads of extra reception fun, provided by our own Silly Station photo booth!

Every time we look at these images, we can’t stop smiling! Thanks to our second shooter for the day, Jenna Shriver, for always being a delight! And to Hillary and Mike… wishing you many, many years of happiness together.
