Evie’s First Birthday!

Erica and Matt, and the family they’ve created over the years, hold a special place in our hearts. Years ago, Molly and Erica sat across from each other in a Downtown Frederick office, working together as journalists covering the city. Back then, Erica was single, and admitted to stalking the Spence Photo website, loving all of the weddings we posted there. One day, if she ever got married, she said, David would shoot her wedding.

When she and Matt became engaged, sure enough, they asked David to capture their Inner Harbor engagement session, followed by their gorgeous wedding ceremony and reception at The Grand in Baltimore one lovely October evening.

Next, Erica and Matt expanded their family by welcoming the cutest little dog named Sadie, and moved into a new home. Right about that time, Erica announced she was expecting a baby, too. So, we captured all of those milestones for Matt and Erica as well.

Finally, last August, Everly stormed into the world, and changed Erica and Matt’s lives forever. We captured some portraits of her when she was just a few months old.

And this past week, Miss Everly turned one year old. We were thrilled to be invited to the party, to capture this special little girl’s portraits. Here’s a few highlights of our favorite one-year-old’s cupcake birthday celebration…
