We have known Kim for, literally, decades. You see, Molly and Kim share some relatives (an aunt and uncle and some cousins) and both grew up in the Hazleton area in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Molly even babysat Kim a few times! So we were, naturally, thrilled when Kim told us she was engaged and needed a photographer. We were so excited for them to travel down to us in Frederick for their engagement session earlier this year… springtime in Frederick is hard to beat!
A few months later, we met up with them in Northeastern Pennsylvania for their wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Danville and reception at Rolling Pines Golf Course in Berwick.

We started the day at Kim’s home in Danville, where we spotted this adorable sign.

Kim’s nephews were too cute… we mean “cool.”

Kim was the flower girl in matron of honor Glenna’s wedding 25 years ago!

The Details Matter created the lovely flower arrangements.

After a few photos at the church, we took a short drive to Berwick for more portraits and reception time!

Next we grabbed some golf carts and ventured out onto the course for some couple portraits.

Then it was time for the party!

Wilson’s “Tracey-Cakes” made this delicious beauty, topped by Kim’s favorite Precious Moments figurine.

A few good speeches by the best man and matron of honor…

… were followed by some dancing, with music from Power House Sound.

And then it was time to cut the cake!

Kim went in for the smash early!

Next it was garter time!

Instead of tossing the bouquet and garter, Kim and Ed had an Anniversary Dance. The couple who was married the longest would win…

The lucky couple ended up being Molly’s Uncle Joe and Kim’s Aunt Cathy, who have been married for 51 years!

Aunt Cathy celebrated, until she learned that Uncle Joe was going to put the garter onto her leg!

Lots of laughs from Cathy and Joe’s kids.

We ended the night with some Chicken Dance antics…

And some more awesome dance moves! Congrats to Kim & Ed, with best wishes for many years of happiness together!
