Even though Christine and Shawn shared a mutual close friend during their college days, they never officially met until two years after graduation. But once they did meet, these two only had eyes for each other. The same was true on their wedding day in early May. They said their vows under a gorgeous copse of trees on the front lawn of the Historic Whitehall Manor and Estate in Bluemont, Virginia, with many proud family and friends watching. Then, it was time for celebrating, eating, and dancing!

Kirsten Eike of Kirsten Marie Design created Christine’s lovely updo. She borrowed her mother’s own wedding day earrings, and fell in love with these lovely Kate Spade shoes online, then cheered as she finally chased down her correct size!
