After Lynsey and Trevor took a six-month-long road trip across the United States together, they returned to their home state of Maryland in their big blue van, dipped their toes into the Atlantic Ocean, and promptly got engaged. We truly love this adventurous duo, who first charmed us during a wintertime engagement session around Gathland State Park near Burkittsville earlier this year…
In mid-October, we spent a chilly evening watching Lynsey and Trevor vow to always be by each other’s sides, among family and friends on the patio at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick. We brought along second shooter Stefanie Harrington, and our Silly Station photo booth to the party as well.

We cannot say enough good things about Ceresville Mansion in Frederick. Sure, it’s a lovely location, and close to home. But what takes it over the top is the people who work there. They know how to take care of people, whether they are in the wedding party, guests, or vendors, and we really appreciate that.

The moms arrived early, protecting Lynsey’s dress from the rainy day.

Aaren King of MADE Makeup came out to the mansion to take care of Lynsey. We love working with her!

Chris and Melissa of Candlelight Floral Designs used such beautiful, bright fall colors to decorate the day.

As the ladies were getting dressed upstairs, the men were helping dress up the tables downstairs.

Lynsey truly is a natural beauty!

The man of honor and best man conferred on the couch before the ceremony…

While Trevor’s dad helped out with tie-tying.

Lynsey and Trevor opted for a First Look before their ceremony.

Friends were watching the special moment unfold from the windows of the mansion.

Who needs traditional wedding bands?!

We cannot get enough of this wedding party. Such stunners, all of them.

After a great walk around the grounds for portraits, Lynsey and Trevor headed back to the mansion to get ready for the ceremony.

Their vows were a perfect blend of humor and love.

They did it! Now, it’s time to party…

We loved the theme of travel and exploration that permeated the night. Guests’ tables were named after states Lynsey and Trevor traveled through on their cross-country journey when they fell in love, and favors were lovely calendars featuring images from those places on each month.

The coolest guestbook we’ve seen … guests signed a real-life globe with metallic pens.

Karen Rodkey Cakes designed yet another beauty!

After their first dance as husband and wife, it was time for toasts…

Trevor’s Best Man gave a heartwarming speech about the two “adventurous goofballs,” who married that day.

And Lynsey’s Man of Honor had the room laughing, telling tales of their antics together.

While Jarema Productions kept the crowd dancing, our Silly Station photo booth entertained throughout the reception…

It was a beautiful night spent with truly special people. Thank you, Lynsey and Trevor, for your friendship, and best wishes for a wonderful future together!
