Last June we met up with Kristen and Henry at Baltimore’s Fort Armistead Park and at Woodlawn Manor Park in Montgomery County to capture some memorable engagement images. At the time, Henry was active duty military and now he’s in the Army Reserves. We loved getting to know this fun and truly photogenic duo.

Almost exactly one year later, it was time for the wedding! A gorgeous day awaited us at Shade Trees and Evergreens Event Grounds.

Kristen worked so hard on so many of the details of the day, including creating her own bouquet!

Henry presented each of his groomsmen with a specially decorated flask.

Kristen also made custom bouquets for each of the bridesmaids, as well as a lovely custom necklace for each girl, too.

These two cuties were ready to roll… down the aisle!

 Henry called Kristen the architect of his success and promised to love her for the next 90 million years.

Kristen created these gold-covered animals to use in the whimsical centerpieces at each table. We loved them!

Kristen’s sister made the cake and lots of delicious little treats alongside it, as well as the sugar skull cookies, which served as favors.

And, with a sparkler sendoff, the evening was done! What a fantastic day with so many fun, DIY details and a great couple surrounded by love.
