We were so excited to join Amanda and Jonathan, two Virginia Tech Hokies, as they celebrated their wedding day at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Virginia. What a gorgeous setting for a lovely couple! And the good news was that stormy skies held off their downpour until all were safe inside and outdoor photos were complete!

Jon really wanted the wedding colors to be true Hokie – maroon and orange – but Amanda chose to incorporate grey into the mix with beautiful results!

Much effort was put into finding these ties for the guys, and it was well worth it. They looked sharp! And the ladies? Super stunning as well.
Amanda and Jon chose to do a “first look” before the ceremony. We love the expressions on their faces when they saw each other for the first time. So hilarious, and so cute!
Bravo to the ladies, scaling rocks in high heels without a wobble!
Jon’s uncle performed the ceremony, and talked about the first time he saw his nephew, just hours after he was born.
Just as they kissed, the rain started to drop! Perfect timing, as we were ready to head inside for the party…
We loved the hokie cake topper! Adding a bit of funny to a lovely day.
Speaking of funny… the dance floor was full of it all night!

And, of course, the silly station made an appearance, with lots of creative results!
A little bit of “Gangnam style”? You bet! Jon’s moves were simply outstanding!!
