Lesley and Ben met by chance when their opposing dodgeball teams headed to the same bar after separate heated games. They began dating in 2010 and five years later became engaged. We first spent a fun afternoon with Lesley and Ben in Downtown Frederick last summer, capturing some lovely images around City Hall and Baker Park, where Ben had initially popped the question.
This fall, it was time for their wedding day at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Rockville.

April Reardon from Wildflower Weddings at Bend in the River Farms created the colorful florals.

Just enough time before the ceremony for a quick story time between the bride and flower girl.

Lesley was walked down the aisle by her godfather, who also designed her wedding band.

After a few portraits around the church, everyone headed to Downtown Frederick for a meal at one of Lesley and Ben’s favorites, Ayse Meze Lounge.

Lesley created the decorations around the reception and picked up the pumpkins at Gaver Farm, where she and Ben both grew up going for pumpkins each fall.

They’re famous! Lesley and Ben made an appearance recently on the cover of Frederick County Guide magazine!

Planning By Jill helped put together all of the details of the day.

Ben’s nickname when he was a child was “Bunny” and the two lovebirds often give each other “bunny kisses,” so bunnies showed up on their cake and elsewhere among the reception decor.

The mother of the groom made the cute bunny cookie favors.

After some good food, guests gave the happy couple a sparkler sendoff.

Jordan K. Winn of JKW Beauty helped Lesley with hair and makeup.

Lesley found her beautiful Allure wedding gown at I Do I Do Wedding Gowns.

After some portraits around town, a quick outfit change and then onto Gaver Farm for a bonfire celebration!

The perfect end to a perfect day! Congratulations, Lesley and Ben!!
