We first met Stephanie many years ago, when we all were working for The Gazette newspapers. We’d kept in touch over the years and were so happy to see her engagement announcement to John posted on Facebook! Shortly afterward we met up with the happy couple and their dog, Bailey, in the Great Falls area of Maryland to capture their engagement session.

In October, it was time for their wedding day! St. John’s Episcopal Church in McLean, Virginia, was the setting for the ceremony.

Christopher William Kimball-Aubrey and AJ Ledbetter teamed up with hair and makeup to help Stephanie and the other ladies get even more gorgeous.
A little rainfall didn’t stop John from having a joy-filled first-look with his bride before the ceremony.
Bailey was a sport, wearing a floral collar for pre-ceremony pics.
John gifted Stephanie a frame engraved with the words to their favorite song.
The Rev. Dr. D. Stuart Dunnan, headmaster at the boarding school John attended, performed the ceremony.
Distinctive Floral Designs provided the floral arrangements.
After some photos outside the church, it was time to head to the reception venue, River Bend Golf & Country Club, in Ashburn, Virginia.
Wedding planner Virginia Perry and her team took care of all the details at the venue.
The Tardis Photo Booth was a fun addition to the reception.
A lovely cake by Jerree Atkins, a friend of the couple.
Dancing tunes were played by DJ Jennifer Ramos from The Pros.
And a great time was had by all! Congrats, Stephanie and John, and best wishes for many years of happiness!
