Laura and Patrick met as college students at the University of Maryland in College Park. They were both English majors, and one day Patrick asked Laura for some advice on selecting the best classes. That conversation lasted for hours, and continued the next night, and the night after. Soon, they were inseparable, and talking about a lot more than English classes! After more than four years together, Patrick proposed, and the two planned an early September wedding at Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, Maryland.

During the ceremony, Laura and Patrick placed notes to each other along with a bottle of wine in this box. The notes are reminders about why they love each other so much. Tf they encounter a trying time in their relationship, the idea is to open the box, share the wine, and read the notes to help them through it.
