We first blogged about Julianne and Joey earlier this year, following a lovely Baker Park and Carroll Creek engagement session that was also featured over at Heart of Frederick, a local event blog. We have loved documenting Julianne and Joey’s love story, and were so excited to meet up with them in mid-September for their wedding day at Hollow Creek Golf Club in Middletown, one of our favorite local venues. Susie and her team always do an amazing job helping us, the couple, and their guests have a great day!

Julianne couldn’t resist a quick peek outside before her walk down the aisle.

The handkerchief wrapped around her bouquet was given to Julianne on the day she was born, and she wore it home from the hospital!

Julianne’s neighbor created the floral arrangements for the wedding, and incorporated Julianne’s great grandmother’s ring on the bridal bouquet.

Julianne’s maternal grandparents are French, and the reception included lots of fun, little French details throughout…

…such as these delicious macarons given to guests as favors…

… and these French books from her grandfather’s collection…

But, perhaps best of all, was the glorious croquembouche, a delicious tower of sweets constructed by Patisserie Poupon of Baltimore and presented in the middle of the reception.

Julianne’s grandfather offered a special moment when he serenaded her and her father for their first dance of the night.
