Mary Kate and Rob were married on a beautiful day in July, starting with a traditional ceremony at St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church in Walkersville, then continuing with a fun-filled reception at Morningside Inn, along the rolling hills of Frederick. It was a lovely day, filled with great details, and some really *super* people…

Rob’s wedding band was made by fusing together his own mother’s and late father’s wedding rings to create a whole new ring. What an awesome idea!

Remember how we said about lots of *super* people? Well, Mary Kate and Rob took that literally with superhero details, like MK’s Batman garter!

Another lovely tradition was the exchange of crosses between Rob’s and Mary Kate’s families during the ceremony.

After the ceremony, it was off to Baker Park for some portrait fun!

We are so glad the city reopened this stunning bridge!

Baker Park is so wonderful. We’re smack dab in the middle of the city, but can still find a glorious secluded spot like this!

… and then, horrors! The wedding party was attacked by an AT-AT from Star Wars! Ha, just kidding! This group was a riot, and really wanted to do a wacky picture like this. So, why not?!

We love the soft pink colors and classic pearls on the bridesmaids!

Super. Enough said.

Rob is a musician, and has been since he was a kid. So, naturally, music was an important part of the day. At the reception, in place of table numbers, guests found favorite band names.

The grounds at Morningside Inn are really wonderful for exploring and picture-taking.

Guests spent cocktail hour downstairs, enjoying some drinks and snacks, and each other’s company. Oh, and of course, our own silly station photo booth, as well!

The wedding party caused quite a stir with their introductions!

This little cutie’s pink shoes matched Mary Kate’s flowers!

Mary Kate’s dance with her dad was a tear-jerker.

Things really got fun when guests headed into our photo booth, the silly station! Nice use of props, folks!!

Carrying through the superhero theme, the cake topper was one of the cutest we’ve seen in a while!

Sorry, Rob. The guests voted, and it was the groom’s turn to wear the cake!

A little smashed cake never hurt anyone, least of all these two! So much love! Best wishes to you, Mary Kate and Rob, for many years of happiness!
