Kimi and Brian met in high school and were friends for a long time before they stepped out of the dreaded “friend zone” and became a couple. After Kimi graduated from Hood College in Frederick, Brian popped the question while celebrating on vacation in St. Maarten. She knew something was up when he starting singing the tune from their favorite video game, “Legend of Zelda,” and opened a ring box. Of course she said yes, and soon it was time for an engagement session. We met up with them in Downtown Frederick then walked over to Kimi’s alma mater for some fun photos featuring some of their loves: “How I Met Your Mother” (look for the yellow umbrella!) and lacrosse (Kimi played on the team at Hood).
In late May, it was time for the big day at Musket Ridge Golf Club‘s Catoctin Hall.
