Each fall we head back home to Pennsylvania to visit family and friends and, for the last several years, squeeze in some family portrait sessions with former wedding clients and other great people we like a whole lot! This year, we met up with five families over two days and got to explore Center City Philly as well as South Philly and the suburbs. First up, the Burke family, who we met on the steps of Philadelphia’s iconic Art Museum…

My how the boys have grown! These two brothers are hilarious and super cute. And have gotten so big and tall since we photographed them last year.

Thanks, Nate and James, for having fun with us again. We love to see your giggling faces every year! After the Art Museum, we headed to South Philly to grab some cheesesteaks and meet another family…

The Harned girls are nothing if not fashionable.

It was a cold day for November, but the girls and their mom and dad braved it for a walk to a local park.

A hot chocolate and hot coffee break was definitely necessary.

Juliet gets some Sylvie love. Can’t stop the cuteness with these two!! A great ending to Day 1 in Philly.

Day 2 was crazy freezing. Seriously, it was ridiculous! But, the Hylands, one of our favorite families in the entire Philly area, braved the weather to try for some outdoor shots. This photo captures how each family member felt about that decision…

We’ve been capturing Leah, Anna, and Jack for years now, and just when we think they can’t possibly get cuter… they do.

All smiles once we got inside and warmed up!

And there’s the handsome Joey! Thanks, Hylands! Next up, a trip just down the road to visit the Nussbaums, whose wedding we captured several years ago…

The Nussbaum family not only now includes little guy Braden, but also furry family members Jackson and Bailey.

Braden just killed us with his huge blue eyes! Thanks for playing with us, buddy. Looking forward to capturing you as you grow. And finally, we finished up the day with a family we’d never captured before, the Schultzes.

Thanks to Chloe for providing some comic relief by licking us to death! And to Alexander for climbing that tree!

A great way to end a fantastic weekend of family portraits! Thanks to everyone for allowing us to document your families as they grow. We truly love seeing you each year!
