Jenn and Kevin met at the Frederick Marathon way back in 2007. Little did they know that 6 years later they would be tying the knot. This downtown Frederick duo reconnected at Brewer’s Alley in 2011 and their romance culminated in late June of this year, with a beautiful wedding ceremony a short walk away at Evangelical Lutheran on Church Street. Gorgeous weather, an absolutely loving family, a gaggle of amazing friends and fun, fun, fun awaited them on their wedding day!

Jenn and her bridesmaids got ready in her home on Dill Avenue, not far from our kids’ school! We love working downtown!
Kevin left his bride a touching note in their bedroom to find on their wedding morning.

Instead of a first sight, Jenn and Kevin opted for a first hand-holding. It was amazing! They were all smiles as they talked through the door. Awesome!

Kevin held out a nice, big bribe to tempt the ring bearer to make it to the end of the aisle!
Throughout the ceremony, live music made the ceremony so special, with guests invited to sing along. Incredible!
No Downtown Frederick wedding would be complete without a shot of some of Frederick’s famous spires! And it just so happens that Jenn and Kevin’s wedding occurred underneath two of those spires!
When we got to Baker Park, Jenn and Kevin’s neighbors met us with the newlyweds’ dog, Cali. Such a cute girl! She was totally ready for her portrait. Look at that face!
These girls were up for almost anything! A dip in Carroll Creek? Why not?!
Both Jenn and Kevin have been heavily involved in sports throughout their lives. Kevin was a star baseball player as a kid, so we made a stop by Frederick American Little League‘s Angleberger Field in Baker Park for some pics with the guys.
We just love the custom sign that was inside the foyer at Ceresville Mansion with highlights from their love story!
The wedding party’s intros into the reception were probably the most unique we’ve ever seen! Each couple donned gear from their favorite activities — running shoes, bikes, paddles — and sported their way in!
