i booked with karen and pat almost 18 months ago, and have been looking forward to their big day ever since. i knew it wasn’t going to be just any wedding celebration, but a soiree! ooh la la! they are such a fun couple, karen a singer and actress, pat an engineer. all of the details of their wedding day, from the cake topper and colors, to the guys’ shoes and the awesome food, provided by renaissance chef, fit them perfectly! i loved it all!

the entire soiree was at the fabulous delaplaine visual arts education center. such a great frederick venue!

the take-away treats for guests included loads and loads of candy! yum!
and the best one… candy skulls! awesome! (warning: the red ones turn your mouth bright red. creepy!)

i think they were all joking about how many polish girls it take to fasten a dress, and then karen’s mom, claire, said, “hey, but i’m polish!”
