Jess and Joe met when they were high school students, through mutual friends. Romance blossomed, and they knew they were meant for each other. We met them soon after their engagement, and had fun getting to know them better during a fun photo session around Downtown Frederick last fall.

In early May, on a cool, gray Saturday, it was time for their wedding day. No matter the weather, Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery in Thurmont is always stunning, and on Jess and Joe’s big day, the Frederick County venue did not disappoint.

Jess and Joe shared some really lovely sentiments with one another and with their parents before the ceremony in special, handwritten notes.

Soon, it was time for a “first look,” on the front patio at the manor.

After some portraits in and around the manor, it was time for the ceremony…

The rainstorms stopped just long enough for portraits outside prior to the reception.
