For Martha and Jamie, the charm of Downtown Frederick provided the perfect setting for their wedding and reception. The two were married at the lovely Everedy Square restaurant Ayse Meze Lounge, known for its Eastern Mediterranean small plates menu. To start things off, both Martha and Jamie got ready at the gorgeous bed and breakfast, 10 Clarke Place.

Martha’s friend, Missy, served as makeup artist for the day.

Lots of love among the Mitchell girls!

Meanwhile, Jamie and the guys were getting ready upstairs…

Just before the short trip over to Ayse Meze, Jamie and Martha did a quick no-look first look!

Martha and her mom picked and arranged the flowers for the bouquets and arrangements themselves!

It’s all smiles as Jamie reads the vows he wrote to his bride.

After the ceremony, Uncle Jamie got lots of hugs from the nieces and nephews…

Our family has known the Mitchell family for more than six years. Our son started preschool with Garrett (center) when they were both just 3 years old. A few years later, our daughter was in a class with Johanna. We love the Mitchells and were so happy to be able to capture this very special day for them!

Shab Row and Everedy Square provided an awesome backdrop for portraits.

And then it was time to eat, drink, and party…

We appreciate the creative use of pallet wood at the reception.

Johanna serenaded her aunt and uncle as they entered.

Mary Louise had to keep her boys in line during the reception.

We ended the night with some portraits along Carroll Creek Linear Park, and its new water feature.

What a gorgeous night! Thanks for inviting us to the party, Martha and Jamie. Here’s to many years of happiness together!
