It’s not often that you get the chance to photograph two siblings’ weddings; and it’s even less often that you get to photograph two siblings’ weddings in the same season! Well, that happened this year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better family to photograph twice (We love you, Trees Family)!
The first Trees family wedding was at the end of October (see highlights from Laurie & Ryan’s Springfield Manor wedding here: spencephoto.com/blog/24429 ). Next was Ryan’s sister, Emily, and her fiancee Tommy!
We first got Emily and Tommy in front of our cameras during a springtime engagement session in Gaithersburg with their dog, Linus.
Then, we headed to Georgetown on the last Saturday in December to meet up with Emily and Tommy for their wedding day.
We got started with Tommy and the guys, looking sharp, walking the streets near the Georgetown Inn.
Franklin Floral Design created the lovely bouquets.
We love Emily’s practical and not-so-practical wedding day footwear choices.
Nothing like a little love from Dad before heading out to the ceremony.
The wedding Mass took place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown.
Following the ceremony, everyone gathered at Pinstripes for the reception.
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed our Silly Station photo booth.
Alexandria Pastry Shop created the cake.
