When Kristin moved to the Northern Virginia area a few years ago, prodded by friends, she tried online dating for the first (and last) time. Luckily, she discovered Brett on her first date, and she never had to go back to it again! We met up with this fun couple on a hot day in early fall for a Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia engagement session (check out the surprise visitor lurking in the background of some shots, a shout-out to their Friday the 13th wedding date)!<\/p>\n

Their wedding day was on Friday the 13th of October, a lucky and lovely day for a celebration at Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge<\/a> in Myersville, Maryland.<\/p>\n

Hair and makeup duties went to Yisell Santos<\/a> and her team.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Kristin found her Morilee Collection by Madeline Gardner<\/a> gown at Global Bridal Gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Brett carried his grandfather’s Purple Heart with him.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

The bride created all the floral arrangements, with gorgeous results!<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Angelcakes<\/a> created the wedding cake and accompanying cupcakes, too!<\/p>\n

A mashed potato bar for dinner? Yes, please!<\/p>\n

You know it’s going to be a swell time when Alex of The Dapper DJs<\/a> is in the house!<\/p>\n

And we brought along our Silly Station<\/a> photo booth for some (scary) reception fun!<\/p>\n
