Ally and Dan met while both were college students, at different colleges, and started dating just after graduation. Once Dan moved to Washington, D.C., where Ally was based, their relationship deepened. Dan proposed to Ally while on a trip to Cape May, and we met up with them last fall for an engagement session in Arlington, Virginia.<\/p>\n

In early June, it was wedding time! Dan and Ally chose one of our favorite venues, ThorpeWood<\/a>\u00a0in Thurmont, Maryland, to host their ceremony and reception!<\/p>\n

Ally’s wedding gown was by Ava Laurenne Bride<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TOMS<\/a> are always an awesome wedding day footwear choice!<\/p>\n

Just before they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, Ally and Dan exchanged letters.<\/p>\n

Then it was time for their first look!<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

Ally’s hair and makeup was done by Piper Crawford at JKW Beauty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stunning florals by Blossom and Basket Boutique<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n

The Rev. Norman Ross<\/a> performed the wedding ceremony at ThorpeWood’s arboretum.<\/p>\n

Awesome dancing tunes were provided all night by Lloyd Dobler Effect<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Guests had fun donning props for our Silly Station photo booth<\/a> all night! (With thanks to our second shooter, Peyton Weikert, for assisting at the booth, too.)<\/p>\n
