McClintock Distilling | Frederick, Maryland | Wedding | Emily & Karan

Emily, a high school English teacher, and Karan, a data analyst, met on OK Cupid. Their first date lasted for hours because they just couldn’t stop talking to each other. Currently they are dog parents to a beagle mix named Serenity and a mystery mix named Walter, two quirky rescue pups they love dearly. For the foreseeable future, they’ll be renovating an older home they bought together in Downtown Frederick, and falling in love with their chosen new hometown. Their engagement session was a celebration of Frederick and of their love.

Karan and Emily chose McClintock Distilling, located just off Frederick’s beautiful Carroll Creek Park, for their ceremony and reception location because they love the industrial vibe and exposed brick. They got ready on their big day at their new home, just a few blocks away.

Emily found her gown at Say Yes for Less.

Hair and makeup by Structures Salon.

Florals were created by Forever Blossoms Floral Designs.

Classic Occasions by Caitlin helped with all the wedding day details.

Karan lost a bet and led his groomsmen in a very special dance number.

All food was created by Palmtree Catering.
