it’s our brand-new offering, silly station! a few, lucky couples already tried out silly station at their wedding receptions this year, and the results have been so super fun…

so, what exactly is silly station, you ask? it’s a photo booth (that’s really not a booth at all)! basically, it’s a backdrop with a camera, a flash, a remote, and crate full o’ wacky props you can use to snap your own photos.

there’s no curtain or strip of four photos that comes out the side. you’ll be able to see all the photos taken in silly station in an online photo gallery soon after your event! silly station is a great way to entertain your guests during parties or receptions — especially all those “too cool to get out on the dancefloor” uncle bobs out there!

young, old, and everyone in-between really love silly station! there’s no limit to how many photos you can take, and you can get as silly or as serious as you want! wow, this is a really serious one, right?!most of all, silly station is a way for you to get even more great photos out of your day with us!

i was able to spend some time with the wonderful couple down by the water, but most of the night was party central. i had a great time! thanks guys!

after a few roasts and toasts, the incredible ben waters took the stage. he came all the way from the united kingdom to play at the celebration!

the last set was a jam with both bands, and one of laura’s cousins. he’s the one on lead guitar.

]]> http://spencephoto.com/blog/189/feed 0 great time at the autism walk http://spencephoto.com/blog/36 http://spencephoto.com/blog/36#comments Mon, 21 Apr 2008 02:15:38 +0000 david spence yesterday, i had the fun task of shooting the annual charity walk of a group called tact, teach autistic children today. i donated my services to cover their walk, plus will give 10% of print and product sales back to the organization. tact’s president, chris patterson, used to work for my wife, molly, and that’s how i got involved with the group. the walk itself was a huge success. very fun and tons of people.

i got to play around a bit during the event and used my fun 10.5mm fisheye. i love this lens! it can give you some really cool pics, when used right. i hope i used it right yesterday!
