Jason is a worship director at a church in Washington, D.C., and Jenna works for the Navy as an environmental scientist. They met online while both living in Florida, and moved to the DC area less than a year ago. It was on the weekend before Jenna was set to move to DC to join Jason when Jason flew down to Jacksonville, Florida and surprised Jenna in more ways than one. The first was with a marriage proposal, the second was a surprise engagement party at her parents’ house, with all of their friends and family present. We celebrated their engagement with a fun photo session around Downtown Frederick.
In late April, it was time for their wedding at Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood.
Monica’s Floral Designs created the colorful bouquets.
Jenna’s hair and makeup was by Hannah at Cutting Edge Styling Studio.
Tiny Batman made an appearance at the ceremony.
As a nod to their 4/20 wedding date, Jenna and Jason created a “Munchy Bar” and gave guests tiny brownies as a take-home treat.
Monica’s Sugar Studio provided the cake.
Great Scott Productions played some great dancing tunes.
And we brought along our Silly Station photo booth for added reception fun!
And a bubble sendoff for the newlyweds! Congrats, Jenna and Jason!
