WE ARE… so excited to share this wedding with you, the union of two fellow Penn Staters! Megan and Justin met as freshmen at Penn State University, when they arrived to audition for the Blue Band. Both Megan and Justin received a slot in the elite marching band, and spent the next four years falling in love and making lifelong friends as well. We first got them in front of our cameras at Cunningham Falls State Park last fall, for a fun engagement session.
In October, it was time for their wedding day at Walker’s Overlook, in Walkersville, Maryland.
Megan found her Stella York gown at Sorelle Bridal Salon.
Amanda and Becca from Belleza Hair & Nail Studio helped Megan and the other ladies look their best.
Anna from Seed to Ceremony created the florals.
Justin’s dad officiated the ceremony, which included a few nods to the couple’s love of Disney.
Family formal portraits can be fun, too!
This tiny frog hopped a ride on Megan’s wedding dress!
The wedding party raided our photo booth props for their big entrance!
While out taking portraits on the grounds of Walker’s Overlook, we noticed Tailwinds Over Frederick‘s balloon floating by.
Following a great dinner by Celebrations Catering, it was time to dance!
Dancing tunes were provided by Shew-sical Entertainment Services.
You know it’s a good party when our Silly Station photo booth props make it out onto the dance floor!
Friends and family made pies and cookies for dessert!
Justin’s sister and Megan’s brother had some fun with the shoe game!
Former Blue Band Director Dr. Bundy posed for a “We Are” chant along with Blue Band members in attendance!
There were two Spence Photo couples under one roof, so we had to capture the moment… so fun to see Lauren and Eddie again!
A quick PixelStick light-painting experiment ended the night… congratulations, Megan and Justin! We were so happy to be part of your special day!
