Erin and Brian met through mutual friends about three years ago, and stayed friends for a while before their official first date. When it came time to make it official, Brian surprised Erin with a special day at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo, where he had arranged a special tour of the elephant house. One of the elephants, Shanthi, gave Erin a special trinket during their visit. When she opened it, she saw Brian’s proposal. A few months later, we met up with Erin and Brian at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia, for a lovely engagement shoot.
In late September, it was time for their wedding day, at the lovely Thomas Birkby House in Leesburg, Virginia.
Virginia Perry of VP Consulting was the wedding day coordinator.
The beautiful florals were purchased from Wegmans.
Erin found her gown at Global Bridal Gallery.
Erin and Brian opted for a first look before the ceremony, and it was a lot of fun!
The Rev. Rebekah Montgomery officiated the ceremony.
Guests danced the night away, courtesy of tunes spun by Spin City Productions.
South Street Under provided the cake.
Congratulations, Erin and Brian! Thanks for including us in your special day.
